Q. Can I Request an Admissions Interview, Even If They're Not Typically Given?

A. You can absolutely ask an admissions office about doing an admissions interview, even if the college isn't currently interviewing or doesn't typically grant admissions interviews. The worst that will happen is that someone will say no.

You don't want to come off as pushy. But if an admissions officer is happy to meet with you, you've demonstrated your interest in the school and have created an opportunity to form a relationship with someone who can advocate for your candidacy.
