Early Admissions Programs Being Expanded at Many Colleges
While several elite colleges such as Harvard and Princeton have done away with early admissions, it seems clear at this point that they were not able to start a trend. In fact, some colleges have redoubled their efforts to recruit candidates through early admissions programs. Popular recent innovations include multiple types of EA plans at the same school and fast-tracked, "less confusing" applications for highly qualified applicants.
