Antioch College Closing its Doors
Antioch College in Ohio is shutting down, with hopes of reopening after four years if it can find a way to improve its financial condition. The school, financially dependent on student tuition, has seen enrollment dwindle in recent years.
Antioch College, which does not issue grades, had made headlines in recent years for its controversial "Sexual Offense Prevention Policy" and its decision in 2000 to have convicted murderer Mumia Abu-Jamal remotely give a commencement address.
