Affirmative Action Ban Passes in Michigan
Voters overhelmingly decided yesterday to ban affirmative action from (among other places) Michigan's public colleges and universities. The impact will be widespread - while colleges will look for other ways to expand outreach to minorities, there will almost certainly be a significant drop in minority enrollment across all types of programs.
